PROMETAL is situated in Sopot, 50 km southward from Belgrade. The factory was founded in 1973. by Mr. Ljubisha and Dragan Ivkovic as an "common metalworking workshop". Since 1986 PROMETAL is working as autonomous company and in this form is working in the present. 

The first product were mechanical blockmaking machines. In time PROMETAL has developed more complex blockmaking machines with hydraulic and electronic controls, concrete pipe making machines, lines for casting reinforced girders, pan mixers, hammer mills and automatic wire straightening and cutting off machines. 

PROMETAL is a firm with about 80 employees at present. Due to long time experience and our permanent inovations you can be sure to have found a reliable partner in the concrete industry which are certifing by several thousands contended customers all over the former Yugoslavia.

The owner, Achim Witzgall, began his career in 1989 as the manager of a renowned German manufacturer of concrete paving and concrete products.

In subsequent years he went on to manage further executive duties for international, medium-sized and large enterprises in the concrete products industry.
In 1999 he was the creator and converting engineer of the world-wide most modern paver factory, calling “the concrete factory 2000”. AWING was founded as an engineering company around this time.
2001 starts a active involvement as a share holder and Managing Director of the well-known concrete machinery company Schlosser Pfeiffer.
AWING is successful world wide operating, to design concrete factories. A wide range of perfect installed international projects in the concrete product industry, esp. in Middle East Area, Asia and South America shows the performance and capacity of AWING.
